Phase 1: Discovery
The process begins with a quick form and a Discovery Call to understand your overall goals, priorities, scope, and timing.
If the project feels like a strong fit, we schedule a First Appointment to walk your home, discuss your needs in greater detail so we can define the project scope.
Following this phase, we prepare a detailed Letter of Agreement clarifying the scope of work and your estimated costs, so we have clarity and alignment before any design work begins.
Phase 2: Groundwork
This is where we get to know you, your home, and how you actually live in it.
We gather your inspiration, preferences, likes and dislikes, and the everyday rhythms of your household: how you work, entertain, and what would best maximize the function of your space.
The more we understand about your lifestyle and priorities, the more your finished home will reflect them.
Phase 3: Conceptual Design
Conceptual Design translates everything gathered in Groundwork into an initial design direction.
This phase may include space planning, aesthetic direction, inspiration imagery, color palettes, preliminary material selections, and major furniture pieces, all working together to establish the overall direction for your project.
We make sure that direction feels cohesive, appropriate to your home's architecture, and aligned with how you'll actually use the space.
Phase 4: Design Specification
Once the design direction is approved, we fully develop every detail: final selections for finishes, furnishings, lighting, and custom elements, along with technical documentation as needed.
This is also where we begin discussing the finishing layer, art, accessories, and styling. That critical piece is considered alongside the rest of the design rather than as an afterthought.
Drawings, specifications, and visual tools are used throughout to clarify scale, proportion, and execution.
Investment levels are refined and confirmed at this stage, so decisions can be made with confidence before procurement begins.
Phase 5: Procurement & Project Coordination
After design approval, our team manages sourcing, ordering, tracking, and coordination of every approved item.
This includes ongoing communication with vendors, trades, and contractors to support accurate execution. Items are scheduled, received, inspected, and prepared for installation to minimize delays and reduce disruption.
Careful coordination at this stage is what carries the original design intent through accurately, all the way to your finished home.
Phase 6: Installation & Completion
Installation is where everything comes together. Furniture, lighting, and materials are placed, adjusted, and reviewed for cohesion and completion.
Art, accessories and final styling happens in this phase, bringing warmth, balance, and personality to the space.
A project isn't complete until every element has been resolved and the home feels genuinely finished, not simply furnished.
