Working with B3 Design
We love design. It's our passion. But... we equally love systems and processes. Details are everything in design. Our meticulous, organized process guides clients through to beautiful completion seamlessly, accounting for every last detail.
Phase 1: Intro
This phase is all about getting to know one another. We begin with a Simple Questionnaire followed by a free Discovery Call. If it's a go, we schedule our First In-Person Appointment. All of this culminates in a detailed Letter of Agreement outlining a very specific Scope of Work with a fixed Design Fee that covers the whole project.
Phase 2: Groundwork
The Groundwork phase is about building the foundation of our partnership. We translate your needs, wants, and personal style into your design scheme. We get the necessary tradespeople involved and start developing the plan for the transformation. We begin regularly scheduled communication with you, which continues through to project completion.
Phase 3: Conceptual Design
In this phase, our team develops initial design schemes with drawings, product recommendations, potential budgets, and a preliminary timeline. We review it with you in detail and get your agreement before moving to the next step.
Phase 4: Design Specification
We define your design scheme down to the most minute detail, finalize the budget, set the schedule, and build scale drawings, and often 3D renderings, so you can visualize your new space. Once again, you approve everything before work continues.
Phase 5: Purchasing & Execution
Once the vision is set and you are excited about each element of the plan, we order every product, work seamlessly with the architect, contractor and various tradespeople to handle every design detail, taking it out of your hands. We pride ourselves on making sure products are on-site before they're needed. We warehouse all non-construction materials to be delivered on Installation Day.
Phase 6: Completion
This is the fun part! On a mutually agreed upon day or series of days we set up your new home. You can be confident that we do not consider a project done until every last item on your punch list is complete.
If it wasn't already part of your initial Scope of Work, we recommend taking full advantage of our Styling and/or Organizing services to really see and feel the transformation!
STYLING SERVICES
No project is really complete without the final beautifying layer of art, accessories and personal touches. To maximize your investment we always recommend clients make "Styling" part of their overall project scope. You can add it anytime.
ORGANIZING SERVICES
Additionally, because we believe how your home functions is as important as how it looks, we offer professional "Organizing" so you have systems in place to maintain your beautifully appointed new spaces.
